September 2019: Contracted with Sovereign Medical Inc. to serve as a clinical specialist providing support for sales team.

Jan 6, 2016: Contracted with Percussionaire Corporation as Distributor for the State of Florida.

July 10, 2014: Authored and published “A Free Kill”, a telling of the events leading to the cardiopulmonary arrest and death of my son Christopher age 28 while a patient in a trauma center ICU.

May 2011: Contracted with All County Healthcare Inc. to develop and manage a Pulmonary Hygiene Program.

Aug 1, 2008: Became a managing partner with Advanced Diagnostic Sleep Center CDE Inc.

July 25, 2008: Successfully completed the BRPT RPSGT Examination.

July 2002: Became an independent manufacturer’s representative (IMR), for Vitaline, Inc.

June 13, 1998: Entered into a partnership with South Florida Diagnostics of Plantation Florida, providing cardio-pulmonary diagnostic and DME services in South Florida. I also began working on a per-diem basis for various NICUs in South Florida.

May 1, 1992: I Served as Clinical/Marketing specialist for Professional Respiratory Care of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., a full service DME and clinical respiratory therapy company. Clinical duties included adult and pediatric home ventilator management, and adult and pediatric sleep studies.

November 1982: Established Edward J. Salazar & Assoc. for the purpose of providing staffing services in ICU, PICU, NICU, and transport settings. We later expanded to representing medical equipment manufacturers.

February 22 1976: Satisfactorily completed the written and oral examinations of the National Board of Respiratory Therapy to be recorded as a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT #3527. I was awarded the designation CPFT (certified pulmonary function technologist) by the NBRT in 1978.

September 1975: June 1981 Affiliate faculty member Broward Community Collage. Pulmonary function instructor.

November 1975: Hired as Technical Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at Northridge General Hospital – Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.

November 26, 1975: Met the standards and qualifications of the National Society of Cardiopulmonary Technologist to qualify for the designation of Cardiopulmonary Technologist CPT.

October 30, 1975: Completed requirements of the Miami Hospitals School of Cardiopulmonary Technology.

May 24, 1974: Completed the Coronary Care Training Program at Broward General Medical Center.

May 2, 1974: Graduated from Broward Community College with an AS degree in Respiratory Therapy Technology.

December 1, 1973: Met the requirements of the American Assoc. for Respiratory Therapy to be awarded the distinction of CRTT.
